Sophia and Slade got married at Palácio de Seteais, an 18th-century palace in Sintra with sweeping arches, formal gardens and views over the hills all the way to the sea.
A grand setting, but the day itself felt warm and easy. Quiet preparations, a first look beneath the palace arches, vows in the gardens and a long night in the ballrooms.
I filmed it quietly and close, without directing. Just the two of them and the people they love.
